Zap-Map integrates ubitricity charge points in London and Oxford with live data.

You can now comfortably find the nearest of the nearly 300 ubitricity charge points in London and Oxford through the Zap-Map. Included are all charge points in lampposts and bollards in the City of Oxford and in the London Boroughs of Hackney, Hammersmith and Fulham, Haringey, Hounslow, Islington, Lambeth, Richmond, Southwark, Tower Hamlets, Waltham Forest, Wandsworth, and the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea.

Zap-Map has also integrated live feed data directly from the charge points so every EV user will be able to directly navigate to the next available charge point of the ubitricity MobileCharging network.

ubitricity’s UK Director of Business Development & Operations, James Everley: “ubitricity is delighted to be working with such an essential service for EV drivers as Zap-Map. Having visibility of charge points is key not only for existing drivers but for those considering making the smart change over to an EV.”

Melanie Shufflebotham, COO and co-founder of Zap-Map: “We are delighted to have integrated live feeds from ubitricity. With more than 290 ubitricity lamp-post devices already installed in the UK, the network is already playing a key role is supporting EV drivers charge on-street, a requirement for vehicle owners who do not have access to off-street parking. The service offered by ubitricity is a great step forward in opening up EV ownership to a new audience.”
