Hackney
Date: July 2026
Details: July the ubitricity charge points in Hackney will be replaced by charge point operator “Zest”. Zest, will manage the operation and maintenance of the new charge points. We have been informed by Hackney council that the charge point locations will remain the same, excluding a small number of charge points which will be removed. Residents near the removed charge points will be contacted directly by the council.
SureCharge Network
Date: 2nd February – Late April 2026
Details: As of February 2nd, ubitricity has acquired and begun integrating FM Conway’s SureCharge public EV charge points into the ubitricity Shell Recharge Network. All SureCharge charge points will join our existing network of 11,500+ charge points. Between January – April 2026 all charge points will be rebranded to Shell Recharge.
Oxford
Date: 1st April – Late May, 2026
Details: Starting 1st April 2026, the operation of the ubitricity charging network in Oxford will transfer to another charge point operator. This transition is expected to be completed by Late May 2026.
We are working closely with the council to ensure continued seamless access to charging facilities for EV drivers in Oxford.
Liverpool
Date: March 31st 2025
Details: Due to essential maintenance work, 47 charge points in Liverpool have been taken offline. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause and recommend using alternative charge points in nearby areas during this period. Our team is working diligently to complete the maintenance as quickly as possible.
