ubitricity nimmt Laternenladepunkte im sächsischen Kirchberg in Betrieb

Kirchberg, 17. April 2023: ubitricity, Hersteller und Betreiber von Ladelösungen für Elektrofahrzeuge und 100%ige Tochtergesellschaft der Shell Gruppe, hat im sächsischen Kirchberg drei öffentliche Ladepunkte an Straßenlaternen in Betrieb genommen. Die feierliche Eröffnung fand im Beisein der Bürgermeisterin Dorothee Obst und weiteren Projektbeteiligten an den neuen Ladepunkten in der Bahnhofstraße in Kirchberg statt.

Öffentliche Ladepunkte an Straßenlaternen geben vorhandener Infrastruktur einen Zusatznutzen und bieten insbesondere für Bürger*innen ohne privaten Stellplatz die Möglichkeit, Elektrofahrzeuge bequem aufladen zu können. Das Aufladen des eigenen Fahrzeugs in der unmittelbaren Nähe des Wohnorts wird damit zur Selbstverständlichkeit – analog zu einer Wallbox in der eigenen Einfahrt. Dies ist eine der wichtigsten Voraussetzungen, damit die E-Mobilität schnell in der Breite ankommt.

Die Kirchberger Ladestationen stehen allen Fahrer*innen zur Verfügung und stellen die ersten Laternenladepunkte dar, die ubitricity im Bundesland Sachsen installiert und betreibt. Der zum Einsatz kommende ubitricity-Laternenladepunkt HEINZ, der gemeinsam mit Ebeee Bender Solutions entwickelt wurde, bietet mit einer Ladekapazität von 3,7 kW optimale Voraussetzungen für Laden entsprechend der gewohnten Parkzeiten.

Mit einem Gesamtpaket aus bedarfsgerechten Ladelösungen (Laternen-, Normal- und Schnellladepunkte) und umfangreichen Service-Dienstleistungen unterstützt ubitricity Städte und Kommunen jeder Größenordnung beim Ausbau der öffentlichen Ladeinfrastruktur.
