How to charge at fast charge points in France
Welcome to the user manual for fast charge points in France. Below you will find separate information on charging with RFID card / tag or Mobility App as well as ad-hoc charging via QR code / NFC.

Option 1: Charging with RFID card / tag or Mobility App
Use your RFID Card / Tag or your Mobility App as usual. The prerequisite is that your EMSP (E-Mobility Service Provider) supports our Shell Recharge charging points. The tariffs of your EMSP apply. Billing takes place as usual via your account with your EMSP.
Step 1 – (START)
First connect your cable to the charging station (1) and then to your vehicle (2).
Step 2
To authorize the charging process, hold your mobility card in front of the RFID reader for 2 seconds.
Step 3
The LED light turns blue, your vehicle is charging.
Step 4 – (STOP)
To stop charging, hold your mobility card in front of the RFID reader for 2 seconds.
Step 5
The LED light will change from blue to green. Disconnect the cable from the cahrge point (1) and then from your car (2).
Option 2: Ad-hoc charging via QR-Code/NFC
- If you do not have an account with an E-Mobility Service Provider (EMSP), simply use the QR code / NFC tag next to the RFID reader section of one of the two charge points to authorise the charging process.
- After scanning the QR code / NFC tag, follow the instructions on the mobile website .
- The rates per kWh are displayed online before payment (Apple Pay / Google Pay / credit card). Payment is made after the charging process.

Use your smartphone to scan the QR code or NFC tag, positioned next to the RFID reader section.
Step 3
Follow the instructions on your screen and enter your payment method.
Step 4
The LED light turns blue, your vehicle is charging.
Step 5 – (STOP)
To stop charging, disconnect the cable from your car (1) and then from the charge point (2).
